Danilo Furundžić (Belgrade, 1980) is a serbian professor the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. He currently serves as the Manager at the University of Belgrade.
Biography
editDanilo S. Furundžić is an associate professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade, where he also graduated as the top student of his class. He was awarded the Serbian Chamber of Commerce prize for his PhD thesis. He has co-authored two notable monographs: Infrastructure: Transport – The Future of Urban Transport and Infrastructure: Independent Railway System – Metro System – The Belgrade Metro Project.
Mr. Furundžić has worked and gained professional experience in Belgrade, Paris, and Kuwait, specializing in cost review, cost-effectiveness analysis, and development studies, with a focus on investment consulting. He has led numerous strategic infrastructure projects and played a key role in the restructuring of the public sector to optimize costs. He also serves as Chair for several planning committees and works as a court expert, holding five engineering licenses.
In addition to his academic and professional contributions, he has authored a variety of urban planning projects, architectural designs for constructed buildings, and interior design projects, many of which have been showcased at various urban planning and architectural exhibitions. Mr. Furundžić currently serves as the Manager at the University of Belgrade.
