Jesse-Clayton Ijambo Is A 22 year Old Artist And Muscian Better Known By His Stage Name Daylus Iverson. Born And Raised Within The Suburb Of Bellville South Which Is Situated In Cape Town, South Africa. Inspired By His Lonliness And Social Anxiety He Was Compelled To Write Poetry At the Age Of Ten To Express His Thoughts And Feelings Which Would Transition Into Then Writing Music. By The Age Of Twelve He Had Finally Made Some Friends In School And Even Inspired Them To Partake In The Art Wherein He Then Formed A Group With His Two Mates Joshua And Ashwin , Calling Themselves The Exbn (Exhibition). They Would Freestyle Battle Every Morning , Intervals and Home Time. The Start Of High school (2016) Daylus Discovered That You Could Record On Smartphones And Would Do That Alongside A New Friend He Met In 8th Grade Josh De Villiers Who Is Now Better Known By His Stage Name Zayne Prince. A Few Years Later Into His Teens At The Age Of 16 In The 10th Grade , Daylus Recorded His First Professional Song Produced By The Artist Denimadic Inside Of His Room. During This Time Daylus Would Be Inbetween Stage Names Such As Kxd Blvck , Eightynine , Knightwav, Travis Cartier And Rahkim Pharoah. Until This Record Was Made , The Record Is Titled "Red Roses" It Was The Debut Song Of His Dream Career And Needed The Perfect Artist Name To Sustain Himself And His Vision But Didn't Come Until An Unreleased Song Was Made With His Friend Matthew February Wherein The Ending Of His Verse He Says - "Destruction And Anxiety Youth Laid Upon Society" Which When Lined Up Beneath Each Other Spells Out Daylus. He Decided To Run With That But Wanted It To Be Longer So He Decided To Merge His Biggest Inspirations , The Artist Bon Iver And The Album Ison By Sevdaliza. The record Red Roses Would Go On To Achieve More Than 3000 Streams On Soundcloud. Daylus Would Follow Up This Release Only In 2020 With His Second Track Thorns Which Features Jozi Artists Lucretius Aurellius And Sean8laxk , This Record Accumulated Over 13 000 streams. In 2021 Daylus Would Return To Soundcloud With A 5 track Ep Titled The Friends I Once Knew , Which Didn't See As Much Success As The Previous Two Records But Still Had Listeners Revisiting. His Soundcloud Era Would Soon Be Over With A Few More Singles. The Year 2022 Daylus Would Only Release Two New Records With His Emergence Into Bigger Platforms Such As Spotify And Apple Music. Midsomer (Feat. Luvkim) And Sonder (Feat. Denimadic) Which Was Two Records Feeding Off Each Other And Telling One Tale , Both Produced By Janky J. 2023 Would See The Release Of Full Body Collection Of Records Titled I Wear Suits And Stay In My Room , Boasting Eleven Tracks , The Project Was Recorded In His Room And Was Meant To Sound Like It To , Replicating What It Feels Like To Record Music With Your Friends With No Budget Or Experience. Yet The Tape Still Sounds Elegant , The Release Of The Collection Left Daylus Recognized As An Emerging Artist Known For His Unique Style And Creative Output Suggesting an Intriguing Blend Of Introspection And Eclecticism.
