In-School Suspension, also referred to as ISS or I.S.S, refers to the act of typically placing a student in secluded room, as a form of punishment. This method is typically used whenever a student exhibits bad behavior, such as profanity, aggression, late work or other issues, but the behavior is not severe enough for suspension.
