Education and Early Career

Van De Vyver holds a Master's degree in Communication from the University of Antwerp and pursued management studies at Vlerick Business School. She began her career at the chancellery of Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt and later led the youth division of the Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats (Jong VLD). She has also worked at Ghent University and served as a communications manager at the digital agency Nascom.

Entrepreneurship and Leadership

In 2012, she co-founded Flow Pilots, a digital innovation company based in Antwerp, where she served as CEO. Under her leadership, Flow Pilots developed innovative digital solutions for various sectors. In 2020, Van De Vyver was named ICT Woman of the Year by Data News for her entrepreneurial achievements and her advocacy for increased female representation in technology.

After the merger of Flow Pilots into the Cipal Schaubroeck group in 2017 and its subsequent acquisition by ACA Group in 2022, Dewi stepped down from her role as CEO of Flow Pilots.

In 2023, she co-founded EFFEX, a company providing modern, web-based platforms for efficient experimental planning. As CEO, she continues to drive innovation in the research and technology sectors.
