DigiProces is an Spanish electronics manufacturing services company, based in Castellar del Vallès. It is a contract manufacturer of consumer electronics, electronics controllers and inverters for elevators, embedded systems, Engine Control Unit, Battery management system, among others, for companies such as Teenage Engineering, Royal Enfield, OTIS and Hewlett Packard.
History
editDigiProces was founded in 1987 by Jordi Batet Torras and was a pioneer company in Spain in having Pick-and-place machine technology for the assembly of Surface-mount technology components.
Initially, it was created to provide electronic assemblies to Sistel Group and manufacturing motor inverters for the german Original Equipment Manufacturer Lenze, and later on, started acting as a contract manufacturer for a wide range of industries.
In 2006 made the first Joint Venture in Spain of two local electronics companies to manufacture electronics products in India, and as a result, INDIC EMS Electronics, Pvt. Ltd. located in Doddaballapur, Bangalore was born.[1] [2] [3]
In 2015 it was created a technology center to develop electronic products for the automotive and industrial Original Equipment Manufacturers market.
In 2020 opened its own laboratory for Electromagnetic compatibility certification.[4]
In 2020 started a transformation to Industry 4.0 of all operations based on the total Digital transformation. [5]
