This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). "Dirty Elegance" is the alias of an anonymous[1] New York City-based[2][1] musician specializing in the genres of trip hop, alternative hip-hop, and downtempo. His music is often repetitive, and uses sampled audio clips and laid-back drum beats. His debut album, "Finding Beauty In The Wretched", was released in 2007, which was then followed up by three more albums in the ensuing years.
Dirty Elegance's first two albums were initially self-released, but at some point as late as September 2010[3] he joined the record label "Bartleby Records", which later rebranded as "The Guerrilla Publishing Company" sometime between September 2012[4] and July 2013.[5] Dirty Elegance left the label sometime between July 2019[6] and September 2020.[7]
