Dominic 'Dot' Major is an English musician and multi-instrumentalist, best known for his work with London Grammar.

Dominic 'Dot Major[1] is an English musician. He is an multi-instrumentalist in indie pop band London Grammar.
Biography
editMajor was born in Northampton, England[2] and grew up in Camden,London.[3] Major met Dan Rothman and Hannah Reid, whilst the pair were at Nottingham University, and started the band London Grammar in 2009.[4]
Solo career
editMajor launched a solo career away from the group, with a debut single called 'Bear'.[5] Major has released various other singles including Hideaway, See This Through (in collaboration with Alex Metric) and Navi. Major has released remixes including a mix of 'Say Yes To Heaven' by Lana Del Ray in 2023.[6] [7] Major created a solo remix of London Grammar's song Baby It's You for their remixes album.[8]
Personal life
editMajor is in a relationship with photographer Mia J King.[9]
In November 2021, Major was caught speeding at 100mph on M1 in London. The musician was fined £165. He was also handed a victim surcharge of £34 and £85 costs - taking the total to £284 - and his driving licence was given three points.[10]
