Don Pedro Aganbi is a Nigerian Journalist,[1] brand and strategy consultant and a Nollywood actor, who has been featured in more than 120 Nigeria films[citation needed] and one-time president of the Lagos State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, after the leadership of Victor Osuagwu in 2016.[2][1][2][3][excessive citations]

Early life and education

Don Pedro Aganbi is from Island Local Government Area of Lagos state in the southwestern geographical location of Nigeria. Don Pedro Aganbi grew up in island, Lagos State in south western part of Nigeria.[4]

Pedro Aganbi completed his primary and secondary school education in Lagos and secured his admission to University of Lagos Nigeria, when he obtained his degree in art.[5][6][7][8][9][10][11][10][excessive citations]

Career

Aganbi started his broadcasting career at Channels TV and also worked at the Lagos State Television (LTV), Minaj Broadcast International, Television Continental (TVC) and Murhi International Television (MITV).[4]

He has won local and international awards in his career as ICT broadcaster and Nollywood actor.[7] In 2006 he won a first prize award at the UN/AISA Africa Media Awards. In 2008 he was a Global IT Champion Award winner in the media category from the World Information Technology Society Alliance (WITSA). In 2017 he won the entertainment personality of the year award at the Nigeria Achievers Award.[12]

In 2023 Don Pedro's Predator's organized Nest and award night that many celebrities attended[13]

He was a public relations officer at the Actors Guild of Nigeria – Lagos State Chapter (2011–2013).

Former Lagos State Chapter chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria (2014–2018) and former special adviser on projects to the National President, Actors Guild of Nigeria (2020–2022).[14][15]

Don Pedro Aganbi Led Lagos AGN Launches Land Acquisition Scheme For Members during his administration[16] after, he has been elected as the president of Lagos State chapter of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN after the leadership of comic actor, Victor Osuagwu.[2][17][18][excessive citations]
