Dr. Zen (Original Title: 怪盗プライド,[1] Kaito Puraido) is a Japanese anime series broadcast from May 3rd [2] to November 4th, 1965 lasting 104 episodes and broadcasted on Fuji TV affiliates.
Story
editDr Zen is a world famous thief who uses techniques,[3] Doublecheck and his friends try to stop Dr Zen but he ends up getting away jist in time.

editAfter it's original broadcast, the show was colorized, [3]and renamed "Dr. Zen" 6 sample episodes would be dubbed, however, the episodes were never broadcast on American television. It is unknown whether there were more episodes translated to English, as only those 6 were put on video software, the Japanese version has yet to resurface.
The episodes were found decades later and put on the DVD Classic Cartoon Rarities Vol. 3 by Something Wierd Video.[4]
The show was also translated into Spanish,[3] Portuguese, and Italian, however, like the Japanese version, no episodes are known to exist.
