Dryland training, often referred to simply as 'dryland".

A term used by swimmers and swimming coaches for physical conditioning exercises for swimmers to be performed outside of the water.

Specifically designed to help strengthen/improve a swimmer's power, reduce injury (particularly shoulders/rotator cuff), flexibility, and overall swimming performance.
