East and South East Asians for Labour (ESEA for Labour) is a socialist society affiliated to the UK Labour Party [1] comprised of East and South East Asian Labour Party supporters. Its official website is https://www.esea4labour.org. East and Southeast Asians for Labour was created in 1999 by Lady Katy Tse-Blair MBE, Dr Stephen Ng MBE and Dr Mee Ling Ng OBE. [2] The Lord Leong, Sarah Owen MP, Tony Vaughan MP, and Yuan Yang MP are people in the UK Parliament of ESEA descendants who have close involvement with this organisation.
East and South East Asians for Labour holds an annual Lunar New Year Gala, which many MPs and Lords attend (including the Labour Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and various cabinet members).[3] Furthermore, East and South East Asians for Labour holds regular policy events where an MP or a Lord will discuss about the policies of the UK Labour Government. [4]
The membership rate is £30 per year. <https://www.esea4labour.org/membership>
