Draft:Ecovoltaics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Can be broader than Agrivoltaics which is only limited to PV + Agriculture.

Ecovoltaics can include that, but focuses on ecological goals, including turning wasteland or dryland into a resource.

  • Bringing vegetables plots, crops, livestock back to barren lands and deserts via agrivoltaics.
  • About 2 billion people around the globe depend on drylands, 90% of them in developing countries. - If methods bring greenery, vegetable plots and livestock back to the desert and barren land. Then dryland has become a "type of resource". - [1]

Subranches (emerging); [2]

  1. PV + desertification control
  2. PV + ecological restoration model[3]
  3. PV + Mine Restoration
  4. PV + Sand Control"
