Eemaan Qadri (born on March 27th 2001), also known by her artist/stage name EMA, is a singer/songwriting based in Toronto, Canada. At the beginning of her career, she released her debut single Get It back in 2019. A couple months later, she wrote and released her first EP Friendly Reminderfeaturing 4 original songs. Soon after this release, her song Honey was added to "Jin's Favourite Tracks", a Spotify playlist created by the BTS band member. This helped create a fanbase for her work, which was the foundation of her viral cover of Heather by Conan Gray. This cover reached millions of streams, and was added to Indonesia's Top Viral 50 Spotify playlist.
EMA is since released 3 singles and continues to create pop/indie music for her fanbase to enjoy. Her newest single, Afterglow, was released on August 11th 2023, following the release of it's music video on Youtube.
