Elvis Tefe (born c. 2003) is a Ghanaian digital content creator, vlogger, and media personality. He originally rose to national prominence in Ghana in 2019 as a student advocate after a viral media interview regarding secondary school placement. He later transitioned into online entertainment, building a significant following across social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
Early life and education
[edit]Tefe was raised in Cape Coast, in the Central Region of Ghana. In 2019, at the age of 16, he completed his Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). Following the release of the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results, Tefe faced significant placement delays despite his choice of Adisadel College in Cape Coast, partly necessitated by a medical condition that required him to remain close to his family for regular healthcare.
His public appeal and mature commentary during a media interview went viral across Ghanaian social media networks. The attention caught the interest of the Citi Opportunity Project on Education (COPE), an educational charity initiative managed by Citi FM and Citi TV. Through COPE, Tefe was awarded a full secondary school scholarship, enabling him to enroll as a Visual Arts student at Adisadel College. During his tenure at Adisadel College, Tefe frequently appeared in school lifestyle media features and entertainment tours, cementing his profile as a recognized student personality.

Operating under online handles such as MrElvizz, he established a digital footprint across major social media networks, accumulating an audience of over 100,000 combined followers across TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
His digital media output primarily centers around lifestyle vlogging, short-form situational comedy, and street culture documentation within Ghana. His creative work is characterized by high-energy interactions and comedic commentary on everyday Ghanaian life.
