The Embassy of Norway in Azerbaijan (Norwegian: Den norske Ambassaden I Aserbajdsjan) is the diplomatic missions of Norway in Azerbaijan. It was located in Baku. [1] The Norwegian Embassy in Azerbaijan was opened in 1998. In 2018, the embassy was closed.[2] As of February 2022, diplomatic and consular events are being held by the Norwegian Embassy in Ankara.[3]
The Embassy's primary responsibility is to ensure the protection and security of Norwegian citizens in Azerbaijan. Along with this, the embassy performs a number of services such as visa and passport processing, birth registration, legalization and others.[4]
