Early Life
[edit]Emily was born in Vienna and grew up in Berlin, Warsaw, and Moscow.[2] She studied political science and social anthropology at the University of Cambridge and moved back to Vienna in 2018, where she completed a master's degree at the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna.[2]
Career
[edit]In 2020, she began an internship at Radio FM4.[3] Following the internship, Emily began working at Radio FM4.[4] She also hosts the magazine programme OKFM4 and since 2026, has hosted the FM4 morning show alongside Philipp Emberger.[1][3]
In 2026, Emily broadcasted and translated the Austrian national selection "Vienna Calling - Wer Singt Für Österreich?" live on YouTube and took on the role of green room host in Eurovision that year, supporting hosts Victoria Swarovski and Michael Ostrowski.[5] The role included serving coffee and having conversations with participants.[5]
She has performed in multiple Viennese musical productions with the Open House Theatre such as "A Christmas Carol" and "Romeo and Juliet".[6] She has also performed in films such as "For A While" (2024), "Red Rocks" (2023) and "Die guten Jahre" (2024).[6] She is a member of actors' unions such as Equity and younion.[6]
