byte Europeana Production is a Czech production based in Barrandov film studios and founded by producer David Blümel in May 2018 in Czech Republic. In 2021 Europeana Production opened a French branch of the company in Toulouse to co-production more audiovisual projects.

Europeana Production distributed many Czech movies as well as co-production projects including movies MIKI and ČERNÁK directed by Jakub Kroner. Both of these films map the activities of the Slovak mafia boss Mikuláš Černák, who negatively influenced the political events of the 1990s in Slovakia. The theme of the film is still relevant in Slovakia and caused a huge wave of reactions, mainly because of the still persistent corruption in Slovak politics. MIKI became one of the most watched movies in Slovak cinemas with more than 400 000 viewers.
