Exelab (formally Exelab S.r.l.) is an Italian technology company founded in 2018 that helps businesses develop and integrate digital solutions. It specializes in CRM, marketing automation, omnichannel communication, AI agents, and broader digital transformation. The company works with large Italian and international organizations to implement solutions intended to drive measurable business performance.

Exelab is the only independent Italian company to hold HubSpot Elite Solution Partner status[1][2] and the first Italian company to achieve Twilio Gold Partner level. In 2026, it joined the Twilio Partner Advisory Board as Italy's sole representative.[3]

History

[edit]

Exelab was founded in 2018 by Emanuele Caronia, who continues to serve as CEO. In its early years, the company focused on CRM and marketing automation for the Italian market, quickly becoming one of HubSpot's first solution partners in Italy.[4]

By 2020, roughly eighteen months after launching, Exelab had already reached HubSpot Platinum Partner status.[5]

In 2024, Il Sole 24 Ore and Statista included Exelab in their "Growth Leaders 2024" ranking, which highlights the 500 fastest-growing companies in Italy by revenue. Exelab placed 30th among IT and software companies in Lazio.[6]

In February of 2024, Exelab acquired The Client Group, a Milan-based startup founded in 2021 by Andrea Carbone. The company specialized in data management, business process optimization, and AI-driven solutions, and its acquisition marked a significant step in Exelab's growth and capability expansion.[7]

In January 2026, Exelab earned HubSpot Elite Solution Partner status, the highest tier in HubSpot's global partner program, becoming only the third Elite Partner in Italy and the only independent company in the country to hold that distinction.[1][2]

That same year, Exelab became the first Italian company to reach Twilio Gold Partner level and joined the Twilio Partner Advisory Board 2026 as Italy's only representative. Twilio officially announced the appointment, listing Exelab among its EMEA board members alongside Capgemini, EPAM, and Braze.[3]

Activities and approach

[edit]

Exelab combines strategic consulting with hands-on technology implementation. Every project starts with the client's business goals and is guided by concrete performance metrics, from operational efficiency and time-to-market to customer lifetime value.

Methodology

[edit]

Exelab's approach brings together consulting, implementation, and ongoing results monitoring. To support this, the company developed EVE (Exelab Value Engine), a proprietary framework that combines operational methodologies and AI-powered tools across the entire project lifecycle.

Areas of specialization

[edit]

Exelab's core areas of expertise include:

  • CRM and marketing automation: implementing and customizing platforms to manage marketing, sales, and customer service operations.
  • Omnichannel communication: integrating platforms that connect customer interactions across voice, messaging, and digital channels.
  • AI agents: designing and deploying AI agents for automation, content generation, predictive analytics, and forecasting.
  • Data management and integrations: architecting data infrastructure, integrating platforms, and synchronizing business information across systems.
  • Technology strategy and governance: advising on artificial intelligence adoption, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation.

Partnerships and certifications
