Feast & Fettle is a meal-delivery service based in East Providence, RI. The company prepares all meals in-house and delivers them fully cooked.[1]
History
editMaggie Pearson founded Feast & Fettle in 2016 with Nicole Nix, growing the service out of her private chef business to scale her offerings and serve more households.[2]
Carlos Ventura became CEO in 2018.[3]
By 2022, the company was among the top 2% of Inc. 5000's Fastest Growing Private Companies.[4]
In 2023, Feast & Fettle expanded into retail with a physical location, The Feast & Fettle Fridge, in Pawtucket, RI. This store sells prepared breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The Fridge also carries the Class B Victualer Liquor License and offers a selection of wine and beer.[5]
Awards & Recognitions
editFeast & Fettle was named Best of Boston's #1 Meal-Delivery Service in 2022[6] and 2023,[7] as well as Best Meal Delivery of 2023 by Greenwich Lifestyle.[8] In 2023, they were also awarded by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for their philanthropy.[9] And the same year, Feast & Fettle Fridge won Best of Rhode Island's Market to Watch for Grab-and-Go Meals.[10]
Philanthropy
editThe company donates $1 from every order to Edesia—a Rhode Island non-profit that distributes therapeutic food to treat child malnutrition worldwide.[11]
Recycling
editFeast & Fettle operates a container return program in partnership with TerraCycle. Members return clean containers to be recycled. Meals are packaged in reusable freezer tote bags and ice packs, which are also returned, sanitized, and reused.[12]
