editFeature Films for Families (FFF) is a privately-held entertainment company based in the United States, established in 1988 by Forrest S. Baker III. The company operates with a foundation rooted in Mormon values[1], curating films that reflect these principles.
Controversies
editIn 2018 a Utah jury found Feature Films for Families Inc, along two other companies owned by Baker, guilty of engaging in deceptive and abusive telemarketing practices for making approximately 100 million calls to Do Not Call phones.[2] The judge imposed a penalty of $45.4 million but reduced it to $487,735 based on their inability to pay the full amount.[3]
