Francis Wayland Johnston (April 29, 1882 – May 15, 1960)[1] was a Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court from 1943 to 1952, serving as chief justice from October 5, 1949 to 1952.
Born in Nashua, New Hampshire.[1]
Graduated from the Roxbury, Mass., Latin school in 1900 and from Harvard college in l904. He received his law degree from Harvard university in 1910. He served as New Hampshire attorney-general from 1932 to 1935.[1]
