Fresh Air Aviation is a small part 135 airline that has three offices, one at the Charlevoix Airport, one at the Beaver Island Airport, and one at the Mackinac County Airport.[1]

Fresh Air Aviation offers daily flights by demand between the Charlevoix Municipal Airport and the Beaver Island Airport, and between the Mackinac County Airport and the Mackinac Island Airport[2]. They also offer charter services in all their planes to or from multiple airports in Northern Michigan. They also offer freight services to Mackinac Island and Beaver Island landing at their respective airports.[1]

On the 16th of September 2019, the Cheboygan Daily Tribune reported that Fresh Air Aviation had to make an emergency landing at the Charlevoix Airport. According to the report, the pilot tried to lower the landing gear, but it did lower. The pilot notified the officials on the ground and there were emergency services ready when they landed. They ended up having to make a belly landing with the landing gear up. There were no injuries reported for the nine people on board, including the pilot. They also reported that the FAA website said that "the landing gear collapsed on landing".[8]
