GAAB syndrome was discovered by Dr.Gabriel Rodriguez, Ph.D in May 2023 and accepted and published in Neurological Sciences Journal in January 12, 2024. The syndrome is a condition in which some patients with bifrontal brain injury and visual pathway damage involving bilateral enucleation experience no emotional processing and generalized anosognosia with visual anosognosia being more prominent in the clinical presentation of the patients while being fully oriented.
