Rúben Miguel Grilo Alves (born 10 September 2010), known professionally as GOOD NGHT, is a Portuguese singer and music producer based in Greater Manchester, England. He launched his career at 12 years of age with a single release featuring a schoolmate, titled "A Man with a Title". The song was deleted 9 months later due to lack of quality.
In January 2024, Alves released the single "MrNefarious". The song was made using BandLab with a pair of bluetooth earbuds. His debut EP, The Opening Act, was released on 8 April 2024.[1]
Early life
editAlves originates from Portuguese and Angolan ancestry, and descends from both white and black ethnicity. His father, Arycelmo Alves (known professionally as 'The Magic Hands'), is considered a successful barber based in Manchester, England. His uncle, Enzo Lopes, is the lead vocalist of the Portuguese band, Irmãos Verdades.
