Gabriel Karkovsky (born on June 12, 1994, in Vinkeveen, Netherlands[1]) is a photographer. Exhibited and published internationally[2], he captured everyday life[3] in various European cities, including Berlin, Vienna, Ostend, Liège, and Maastricht[4] and worked as a photographer and designer for various film and television productions.

Biography

Karkovsky attended the University of Liège, Charles University, and the Institute of Photography[5][6]. Nowadays a freelance street and portrait photographer and content designer, he also worked as a lecturer in Art History, Photography and Film and as a unit still photographer, picture editor and poster artist[7] for film and television[8]. Occasionally, he writes music columns for CultureSonar[9]. Additionally, he co-wrote and produced two short films, Les Nuances de la longévité (2019) and Full Support (2023).

Personal life

Karkovsky lives with illustrator and artist Victoria Titievska, who has been frequently portrayed in his photographs.
