Gabriel and the Guardians is an upcoming American fantasy adventure animated television series created by Jason and co-produced by Colossul Studio and Tiger Animation for Angel Studios.

Synopsis

When the Eternal Seed, a powerful artifact capable of reshaping creation, is stolen, Gabriel—a celestial guardian—is thrust into the dark realm of Ara to retrieve it. Joined by a giant hunter from Bekorah and a fierce alchemist princess from Qayinara, they must brave untold dangers, confront ancient evils, and unravel the secrets that could change their world forever. Along the way, these heroes will discover their true identities and eternal destinies. They will forge a path of light through the chaos in a saga of courage, hope, and adventure.[1]

Gabriel and the Guardians is developed by Colossul Studio who and is animated by Tiger Animation who has made popular animated shows such as X-Men '97, Invincible, and Castlevania.[2] The series will be anime inspired and will be based on ancient Hebrew texts and will be a reimagining of the Book of Genesis which will be Genesis chapter 6 and other Mesopotamian texts.[3][1] Colossul Studio parterned They gathered an all-known cast round Media which will co-produce the series.[4] The series has been under develoment since 2020 with some pre-production two years ago. They gathered an all-known cast which includes Johnny Yong Bosch, Cristina Vee, James Arnold Taylor, Matt Lanter,and Cristina Milizia.[2]

The series will stream on Angel Studios on February 12, 2024 and consists of 13 episodes.[3]
