The Gauda Invasion of Magadha was a military expedition of the Gauda Kingdom onto Magadha which was under the control of the Maukhari Dynasty.[1][2]
Background
editThe internal disintegration in the Maukhari dynasty with Grahavarman ruling in Kannauj and Suva in Magadha. This gave the Gaudas a perfect opportunity to invade and take control of Magadha.[3][4]
Aftermath
editThere are no coins of any Maukhari ruler after suca and it is plausible to say that the gaudas took advantage of the internal feud and took control over Magadha.[3][5][6]
