Houston International Theatre School,[5] commonly known as HITS Theatre is a K–12 theatre school in Houston, Texas. It was founded in 1980[6] by Carolyn Franklin.[7] In 1981, HITS Theatre became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,[8] and is described in Section 170 (c) of the Internal Revenue Code.[9]
History
editIn June 1998, HITS Theatre opened an "Eyegive" donations website which earned HITS $300.[10]
