H Is For Hawk is an upcoming film directed by Philippa Lowthorpe and starring Claire Foy and Brendan Gleeson. It is an adaptation by Emma Donoghue of the 2014 memoir by Helen McDonald of the same name.

editThe film was announced in February 2024, the to be directed by Philippa Lowthorpe, and written by Emma Donoghue, adapting H is for Hawk, the 2014 memoir by Helen McDonald. It is set to star Claire Foy and Brendan Gleeson and has been developed with Film4 who will executive produce and co-finance.[1] The film is also being produced by Plan B Entertainment who had previously been attached to an adaptation of the book with Lena Headley.[2][3]
Filming is scheduled for October 2024 in Wales and London.[4]
