Haidary Hemed Sumry is a Tanzanian politician and a member of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM). He serves as the Member of Parliament for Mpanda Urban Constituency in Katavi Region, Tanzania. Prior to becoming a Member of Parliament, he served as the Mayor of Mpanda Municipal Council.[1]
Political career
[edit]Sumry has been active in Tanzanian politics through CCM. During his tenure as Mayor of Mpanda Municipal Council, he oversaw and advocated for projects related to education, health services, roads, and water infrastructure in Mpanda Municipality.[1]
In the 2025 Tanzanian general elections, Sumry was elected Member of Parliament for Mpanda Urban Constituency under CCM.[2]
