Herschel Jones is a Canadian musical group known for its unique sound that blends hard rock, pop, and metal elements. Formed by Adam Rooke and Logan Noonan, the group later expanded to include Steven Frizzell and Justin Somers in late 2023. Herschel Jones gained attention with the release of their debut single, The Wrong Side, on July 19, 2024. The band is known for its independent releases, with music available on major streaming platforms worldwide.

History

Herschel Jones was formed over several years of collaboration between musicians Adam Rooke and Logan Noonan. The group’s current lineup solidified in late 2023 with the addition of drummer Justin Somers and vocalist Steven Frizzell.

The band’s debut single, The Wrong Side, was released on July 19, 2024, across all major streaming platforms. The track, characterized by its commanding tone and energy, quickly gained attention from listeners worldwide. Along with the song's release, a lyric video was launched, which further contributed to the track’s visibility.

Following the success of The Wrong Side, Herschel Jones released their second single, No Way Out, on August 30, 2024. The track continued the band’s signature sound, marked by powerful and evocative lyrics. An accompanying independent music video, directed and filmed by Adam Rooke, Justin Somers & Ryan Roach was released on September 13, 2024. The video introduced multiple characters named "Herschel," culminating in a mysterious voice urging the character to "wake up."

On November 13, 2024, the band released Stand Tall, a more upbeat and positive song that quickly garnered attention in countries such as Mexico, India, Japan, Denmark, and Canada. With its themes of perseverance and overcoming adversity, Stand Tall became one of the band’s most popular releases.
