- ^ from 11 November 1945 to 27 December 1949, Indonesia de facto became a Parliamentary state after the enactment of the Vice President's Decree No. X on 16 October 1945. With this decree, the KNIP was given legislative authority, with this the KNIP naturally functioned as a Parliament, with the President as a constitutional office, and the prime minister who took care of the government.
