History
[edit]i-exceed Technology Solutions was founded in 2011 in Bangalore by Sundararajan Sambandham, Kapil Gupta, and Joseph John. The company was established with a focus on transforming traditional banking processes into digital experiences.[2] By 2016, i-exceed had established a presence in 10 international markets and expanded its operations into the United Kingdom and the United States.[3]
In 2013, i-exceed demonstrated its Appzillon platform at FinovateAsia, an international fintech conference.[4]
In 2016, Gartner included i-exceed in its research on Mobile Application Development Platform (MADP) vendors.[5]
In 2016, i-exceed's Appzillon was selected by India's Mudra Bank for the development of its mobile banking application, Mudra Mitra.[6]
In 2017, Forrester Research included Appzillon in its evaluation of the eleven most significant mobile low-code development platforms globally, titled The Forrester Wave™: Mobile Low-Code Development Platforms, Q1 2017.[7][8]
In 2017, i-exceed powered CANDI, the first fully digital banking branch of Canara Bank in Bengaluru, using the Appzillon platform to deliver kiosk-based applications for customer onboarding.[9]
