The iPhone Air 2 is a smartphone that is going to be designed, developed, manufactured, and marketed by Apple that will be part of the twentieth generation of the iPhone. To be created by Apple Inc., It will be announced in 2027, and it is going to use two cameras, which it will serve as the successor to the IPhone Air.[1][2][3][4][5]
Development
[edit]The development of the iPhone Air 2 was confirmed shortly after the WWDC 2026 event in the second quarter of 2026,[2][3] and intensified that it will retain the same design as the current model.[2][3] It was rumored that the iPhone Air 2 would add an ultra-wide camera over the existing 1x camera.[2][3]
In July 2026, It was rumored that the iPhone Air 2 was to feature a 3,500mAh battery, up from the 3,149mAh battery used in the IPhone Air,[5][6] along with a smaller Dynamic Island similar to the iPhone 18 Pro.[7]
