"Ib Boye Lauritsen" (born January 27, 1964) is a Danish local politician for the Venstre party and mayor of Ikast-Brande Municipality following the municipal elections in 2017.^[1]

Lauritsen has had a long career in local politics and has played a significant role in the municipality's development. Before becoming mayor, he was active in the municipal council and participated in various committees.

Early Life and Education

Ib Boye Lauritsen was born and raised in Ikast. He has a background in business, and his education and early career have focused on economics and business development.

Political Career

Lauritsen was first elected to the municipal council of Ikast-Brande Municipality in 2005. Since then, he has been a member of various committees, including the finance committee and the technical committee. In 2017, he was elected as mayor.

Personal Life

Ib Boye Lauritsen is married and has two children.
