Insightful, formerly known as WorkPuls, is an American software company that develops workforce analytics and time tracking software.[1]
History
editIn 2016, Insightful was founded as Workpuls by Ivan Petrović[2][3] and headquartered in San Francisco, California,[1] WorkPuls rebranded to Insightful in 2022 as part of the launch of its workforce analytics software.[4][5]
The company has secured funding through various investment rounds, with investors including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Commission, the European Investment Bank, the European Investment Fund, and MHS Capital.[6]
In 2024, Insightful launched its first industry research report, Lost Focus: The Cost of Distractions in the Modern Workplace, based on a survey of 1,200 U.S. employers and employees.[7][8]
Product and services
editInsightful is a time-tracking tool that monitors computer activity to help identify productivity trends and operational efficiency.[9] The software is available as both a cloud-based solution and for on-premise deployment.[10][11][12] Insightful also offers a public API for custom integrations.[10][13][14]
