The Institute for the Study of Contemporary Spirituality at Oblate School of Theology is a research institute dedicated to the study of contemporary spirituality.[1] The institute comprises scholars in the field of Christian spirituality with the intent of drawing on the deep wells of the Christian tradition to meet the contemporary context.
The ISCS hosts bi-annual conferences at Oblate School of Theology to honor outstanding contributors to the field of academic spirituality, including Bernard McGinn, Ronald Rolheiser, and Sandra Schneiders.[2][3][4]
The institute releases a semi-annual academic journal called Offerings.[5] It is also affiliated with the Society for the Study of Christian Spirituality and their academic journal Spiritus.
