editIradion Laser Inc. USA was founded in 2007 and is part of the TroGroup. Since 2022, InnoLas Photonics GmbH from Krailling, Germany has also been part of the laser division of TroGroup. Since 2023 all companies have been operating under the common name Iradion Laser.
According to Iradion, it has sold 35,000 laser sources worldwide.[2]
Business areas
editIradion is a manufacturer of various laser sources based on different technologies and used in different business areas. The product portfolio includes diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSS), which enables pulse times in the range from nanoseconds to femtoseconds. Iradion also offers CO2 lasers with a ceramic resonator. The CERAMICORE® innovation prevents the sealed-in laser gas from being contaminated. The purity of the gas is maintained and the service life of the laser source is extended. The lasers in various wavelengths are used in major industries such as automotive, semiconductor, electronics, materials processing, and research and science.
All lasers are developed and manufactured in the USA and Germany.
