Iranian football's 4th Division (Persian: لیگ دسته چهارم ایران) is the fifth-highest football division in the Iranian football league system. It was established in 2001 as part of Iran's efforts to improve the structure of its domestic football leagues and to provide more opportunities for local clubs and players. The 4th Division features approximately 100 teams organized into regional groups. Each group competes in a single round-robin format, where each team plays others in its group. The top teams from each group advance to a second stage for promotion to the 3rd Division. 2023/24 Standings As of the 2023/24 season, here’s a snapshot of the standings representing multiple teams across the league: Position Team Matches Played Wins Draws Losses Goals For Goals Against Goal Difference Points 1 Esteghlal Shahrud FC 10 8 2 0 24 5 +19 26 2 Fajr Sepasi Kerman FC 10 7 1 2 20 10 +10 22 3 Sanat Naft Abadan FC 10 6 3 1 18 12 +6 21 4 Paykan Varamin FC 10 5 1 4 15 14 +1 16 5 Arman Ghadir FC 10 4 2 4 14 16 -2 14 6 Bargh Shiraz FC 10 3 1 6 10 22 -12 10 7 Traktorsazi Tabriz FC 10 2 1 7 8 20 -12 7 8 Zob Ahan Teyser FC 10 0 0 10 3 30 -27 0 9 Shahin Bushehr FC 10 5 3 2 17 15 +2 18 10 Sepahan Sorkh FC 10 4 4 2 16 14 +2 16 11 Alborz Shahrekord FC 10 3 2 5 12 16 -4 11 12 Khoobroo Khorramabad FC 10 5 0 5 10 13 -3 15 13 Dariush Shahrivar FC 10 4 2 4 14 18 -4 14 14 Esteghlal Hozestan FC 10 1 1 8 6 20 -14 4 15 Tarbiat Yazd FC 10 2 3 5 9 17 -8 9 16 Omid Arak FC 10 0 2 8 4 25 -21 2 ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... 100 Gharib Abad United FC 10 0 0 10 1 30 -29 0 As of the 2023-24 season, the league continues to be an important platform for grassroots football in Iran, embodying the passion and dedication of Iranian football communities.
