He has four biological children (three girls and one boy) and three adopted children (two boys and one girl). He is an Apostle, and a Teacher of the word of God. He is the founder of The Living Faith Movement, Inc. USA. The Living Faith Movement is a Faith movement to strengthen the body of Christ about the faith walk with God. He believes for the believer to grow in the word of God, one should spend time in the word of God and practice the word that you hear, as it is written, Faith comes by hearing and by hearing the word of God. He also believes without Faith, no matter who you are, it is impossible to please God. He believes it is faith that pleases God.
He was called by God many years ago to walk in faith to please God in the mission God has given him to do, which is making disciples for Jesus Christ, teaching them to observe all things which the word of God says. The ministry of Israel S. Newbery which is The Living Faith Movement is an outreach ministry with the mandate to liberate mankind and strengthen the body of Christ. The Living Faith Movement gives birth to The Living Faith Church. It also births mighty revivals in the body of Christ by the inspiration of the Holy spirit. The Living Faith Movement is given a mandate to birth a mighty revival in all East Africa and the rest of the world. The Living Faith Movement has organized, for the first time, a mighty revival bringing different districts in Uganda together to hold the Uganda For Jesus Conference and Revival in Kampala and spreading throughout the nation and surrounding nations. Uganda is the hub for this mighty revival which is spreading like a wildfire into all East African countries and obviously, into the rest of the world. To sustain the spreading of this revival, Apostle Israel Newberry has structured a Bible College, called The Living Faith College. As a strategy to keep the revival fire burning, this college is established to strengthen the body of Christ, pastors, upcoming pastors, evangelists, and the rest of the fivefold ministry gifts.
Israel Newberry has worked in the IT industry for several years. He has worked for the USAID and European Union projects in Liberia in the security reform and the energy sectors as and IT Consultant/Contractor. Israel Newberry holds a master’s degree in the discipline of Christian Education from JBC Seminary & University in Nigeria, a regional campus of Vision Christian University in the US. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree from the Universal Life Monastery in Seattle, Washington for his work in ministry and for his efforts in peacebuilding in communities in Liberia. He also holds a professional certificate in Peace and Development Studies from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Currently, he is pioneering the faith movement causing revivals in places he travels.
