- Comment: Completely unsourced. It's too soon if Kessel will even qualify for a Wikipedia article in the future.. I dream of horses (Hoofprints) (Neigh at me) 06:58, 12 October 2024 (UTC)
Jake Kessel is a professional track-and-field athlete for Puyallup High School. He is highly regarded as one of the best young track runners in recent history, running a nearly record-breaking 48.23 second 400-meter run. His other events include 110-meter hurdles, the 800-meter run, and the 4x400-meter relay. He is considered to be the best high school athlete in every one of these categories.
Kessel has received numerous offers from different colleges around the United States, from the University of Texas to Stanford University. He has yet to commit to one school, but he has many different colleges in his sights at the moment. One of Kessel's school friends, Logan Nutter, is also a professional athlete, who plays hockey for the Tacoma Rockets U-18s. He is a highly touted prospect who has been grasping the attention of dozens of different NHL and college scouts throughout North America.
