Jesse Richard Armijo (Oct. 17th, 1982) is an American Long Distance Runner, Elementary School Teacher and Coach who competed competitively from 2008 - 2012.
He is a graduate from California State University San Marcos and has earn All-American Honors in Cross Country, finishing 24th at the 2004 NAIA Cross Country Championships. After Graduation, his tenure of running included personal bests of: 1:04:55 in the half marathon at the 2008 RnR San Antonio half marathon, 28:59.96 in the 10,000m track in 2010 at Stanford University, and 2:17:19 at the California International Marathon in 2011 which qualified for the 2012 USA Olympic Trials Marathon in Houston, Texas.
He is one of the original co-founders of the Dukes Track Club, which is a running club based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He has ties on being coached by Henry Rono.
