Jillian Skye Gabrielle Jewett (born July 30, 1999) is a European American singer, songwriter and visionary, who is known for her work as a musician, writer, performer, actress, and fashion model. Born and raised in Suffolk County, New York, she continues to reside there to this day.
Family
editJewett was raised in a very musically inclined family. Her father, Ronald Jewett, is a versatile singer influenced by artists such as Michael Bublé and George Strait. Her mother is a designer and artist, who has influenced Jillian's admiration for Aerosmith. Skye has a sister, Olivia Rae, who is a notable figure in the fitness & wellness community, sponsored by worldwide known brands like Alani Nu and NVGTN, along side has established her own growing social media presence. On her mother’s side, her grandmother, Pamela Parrinello, was an accomplished Italian pianist who performed at Carnegie Hall.
Early Life
editJewett began taking piano lessons at age 7 and wrote her first lyrics in 2nd grade. She began sharing her singing talent with friends and family around age 10 and posting videos on the Keek app in 2011. For a few years, she pursued formal music training with Phoebe Yee from Juilliard and had her first vocal recital at Steinway Hall in 2014, where she performed musical composition "Hurt" by Christina Aguilera.

editJewett’s music is influenced by a diverse range of her own life events and experiences. Her music blends elements of a variety of genres, including R&B, jazz fusion, eclectic pop, indie, and tropical house.
Professional Experience
editFrom 2017 to 2018, Jewett studied at Fashion Institute of Technology and The Actors Workshop in Levittown, New York. She performed at The Aloha Lounge’s Christmas Bash Event in 2018 in Astoria, New York. In 2019 she continued her musical education at Five Towns College, known for its celebrated alumni of well-respected musicians like Jon Bellion and Adam Levine (Maroon 5). Jillian studied Jazz Commercial Music Performance and minored in Business there. During this period, Skye released her first song on Soundcloud, a spinoff of XXXtentacion's interlude "Dead Inside" recorded with Corwin Griffith. From 2019 into 2022, Skye worked closely with sound engineer and musical composer Trevor Deblase, who has also worked with some big artist names in the music business today, such as Flatbush Zombies, Joey Bada$$ and many more. Jewett and Deblase worked together on three of her officially published songs as well as several unreleased projects. Later, her 2020 single Ozone and subsequent releases like Alive and Don’t Wanna B Urs garnered attention for their emotional depth and versatility. Later that year, national anthem singer, musician and worship leader Jonathan Wibben, mainly known for his performances with the NHL's New York Islanders at UBS Arena for the 2022-2023 season and the MLB's New York Mets, accompanied Jillian in several live performances at various well known and high reputable venues all across Long Island, NY. She then was invited to perform weekly at Coho Coffee House in Patchogue, NY where she contributed to the jazz-like atmosphere, singing several sets of different songs solo accompanied by musician and worship leader Sammy Nino. Around that summer she dropped her newest single Lately with Davon Young at Brewery Recording Studio, a studio known for recording with artists like Skrillex, Kid Cudi, Jhene Aiko, Kehlani and more.
Along with Jewett's musical endeavors, she also took her professionalism in the modeling scene very seriously during these years. She worked as a fashion model for Penny Lane, New York from 2022 to 2023, and appeared in three different advertisements, one being for the famous cream liquor Rumchata and the other for the popular surf brand Billabong. Jillian has also modeled with luxury jewelry brands Naut & Chain, Tilly's, and many more well-known brands.
