Jonathan del Val^[1] is an French animator and a director at Illumination, best known for co-directing The Secret Life of Pets 2 (2019)^[2] and Minions: The Rise of Gru (2022)^[3] before becoming a director on the short Mooned (2023)^[4] and the upcoming animated film Not Alone (2027).^[5]
