John "Jonesy" Jones, also known as Agent Jones, is a fictional character and one of the main protagonists of the 2017 video game Fortnite by Epic Games.

Concept and creation

Early 3D concept renders for Jonesy showed him with a blonde militaresque crew/buzz cut hairstyle.^[1]

Troy Baker provides the voice of the character,^[2] with his voice lines debuting during the Device event from Chapter 2: Season 2.

Legacy

Jonesy would later make a brief cameo appearance in a 2019 episode of the Netflix animated series, Carmen Sandiego,^[3] as well as being mentioned, alongside the location, Salty Springs, in the lyrics to Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign's upcoming song, Unlock.^[4]
