José Yovín Vargas Llavona (born 1985) is a Puerto Rican doctor who is married to the governor-elect of Puerto Rico, Jenniffer González Colón. Yovín, as it is publicly known, got married to González on August 2022, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. From that union, they bring to the world, the twins, José Yovin Jorge y Jenniffer Nydia Mercedes, on February 16, 2024. Yovín is a reserved person which has maintained his life in private, trying to focus is efforts to his career and his wife campaign for governor for the past years.
Yovín has a net worth of $1.5 millions US Dollars and his height is around 5 feet 7 inches. There is not a lot to mention about José Yovín Vargas Llavona, besides him becoming " El Bartender de la Leche" after his two children born.
Early life
editYovín was blessed with a name that runs in the family. They are like 4 brother and everyone have the Yovín as name or second name. He was born and raised in La Parguera, Lajas, where his parents have a house which is technically in the keys of the area, near Isla Mata La Gata. Nobody knew about that house until recently when Eliezer "Columna Corta" Molina Pérez shared some light about the property and to whom was related, due to the hatred he has for Jennifer González and the New Progressive Party. For the past years, the area has been reclaimed by the ocean and the "Campamento Carey" which is constantly driving with "Voceteo", playing Roy Brown music and Hijos del Cañaveral on repeat.
Yovín Vargas always dreamed to be a doctor. Usually he ran chickens, lizards, dogs, and any other animal to check them rectal temperature. Soon enough his dreams will become a reality once he pass the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and get his license. At the moment, we can see Yovín sporting small scrubs and planning pictures where he is rolling on the grass with his wife.
Political activity
editSince José Yovín is married to the first woman to hold the role of Resident Commissioner, the chairwoman of the Puerto Rico Republican Party and chair of the PNP, technically he has been involved on the political scene in Puerto Rico. Yovín will be making history when he take over the first "Oficina de el Primer Caballero" as the husband of the governor of the island. The position is always address as "Oficina de la Primera Dama" since is more common that the island elects a man to be governor. Yovín is not the first man to go as the First Gentleman to the "Fortaleza". Previously, Adolfo Krans (ex-husband to Sila María Calderón), Ramón Cantero Frau (also ex-husband to Sila María Calderón), Jorge Díaz Reverón (husband to Wanda Vázquez Garced) were the First Gentleman of Puerto Rico, but none of them were brave enough to develop the "Oficina de el Primer Caballero" on their time at "La Fortaleza". The Machorro Community hope that Yovín creates the office and present it as "Oficina de el Primer Machorro".
