Joseph W. Huston (April 10, 1833 – April 2, 1905)[1] was a justice of the Idaho Supreme Court from 1890 to 1900, serving as chief justice from 1893 to 1894.

Judge Joseph W. Huston, of Boise, died at his home in that city Sunday. Judge Huston was one of the best known citizens of Idaho, and had reached the age of 72. For ten years he was on the supreme bench of the state, and has been prominent in political and judicial circles of Idaho for nearly 40 years. He came to Idaho in 1869, as United States attorney, having been appointed to that position by President Grant. He had been ailing for months, and his death was not unexpected.[1]
