Juergen Mueller is a German businessman. He is the chief technology officer and a member of the executive board at SAP SE.
Career
editJuergen Mueller got his first computer at age 12. Aged 17, he founded his own company providing software that helped photographers to serve their customers.[citation needed]
Mueller started studying for his PhD at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam in 2007.[1] He was mentored by Hasso Plattner, one of the founders of SAP SE. In 2016, he became SAP's first Chief Innovation Officer at age 34.[2]
He joined the Executive Board at SAP in 2019 as Chief Technology Officer.[3] His current contract runs until 2027.[4] He is the longest serving CTO at SAP since Hasso Plattner himself.[5] In 2023, Mueller was included in Technology Magazine's Top 10 Most Influential CTOs.[6]
Mueller leads the Technology & Innovation board area at SAP which includes leadership of SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP Cloud Platform), SAP Signavio, and SAP LeanIX.[citation needed]
