Julianna C. Cole, Toronto International Film Festival September 2021

Julianna C. Cole is a distinguished vocal teacher and theatre professional with over a decade of international experience. She holds a Diploma in Children Studies, Teaching Skills for Educators, and Educational Psychology. Additionally, she possesses a Certificate of Distinction in Working with Students with Special Educational Needs.

An accomplished author[1] and opera singer, Julianna studied with The Royal Conservatory[2] of Music and Conservatory Canada for several years. She is the owner and founder of Julianna’s School of Artistic Expression, where she nurtures the talents of aspiring artists.

Julianna has contributed her expertise to prominent theatre companies such as The Shaw Festival Theatre [3]in Niagara-on-the-Lake and Soulpepper Theatre[4] in Toronto. Her deep passion for the arts has guided her to her current role as the Executive Director of Orchestra Toronto[5]. In this capacity, Julianna is celebrated for her efforts to make music accessible to all, notably through the Welcome Seats Program[6], which provides free admission to newcomers[7] for Orchestra Toronto’s performances.

Julianna’s dedication to the arts and education, combined with her extensive experience and leadership, continues to inspire and impact the community positively.
