The bout is scheduled to take place on X X 2025 at the XXX in London, England.

Background

On 3 September 2024, Mams Taylor confirmed on Twitter that Slim Albaher will be facing a "huge name from the mixed martial arts world."^{[‡ 1]} On 3 September, Misfits Boxing confirmed that Albaher's opponent will be announced during the broadcast of MF & DAZN: X Series 18 on 14 September.^{[‡ 2]} On the night, it was revealed that Albaher's opponent was not an MMA fighter, but instead English internet personality AnEsonGib after years of constant back and froths.

On 14 October, the bout was officially announced to take place on 29 November in Lusail, Qatar acuminated with a lunch press conference in London.
